It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Lopes Silveira (Fremont, California), who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Silveira and Elvira Peixoto Silveira; his former wife Bernadete Amelia Duarte Silveira; his wife Julia Goncalves Silveira; and his siblings, Valentina and Jose.

He is survived by: his sons, Manuel (Libby), Carlos (Cindy) and Tony (Marty); his grandchildren, Tony Jr., Melissa, Ryan (Nicole), Andrew, Matthew (Janiece), Tyler (Megan), Justin (Samara) and Anna; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Eli, Madelynn, Vernon, Delilah, Maverick and Waylon. He is also survived by many godchildren, nieces and nephews.
