With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anita Smith (Fremont, California), born in Timnath, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband Grant Smith; her parents, Theodore Rodriguez and Fernanda Rodriguez; and her siblings, Mary, Nacho, Joe, Esther, Jenny, Viola and Rachel.
She is survived by: her brother Steve Rodriguez; her children, Ross Smith, Suzi Vasquez (Tim), James "Eddie" Smith and Grant "Geno" Smith Jr. (Laura); her grandchildren, Tim Vasquez (Andrea), Anthony Vasquez (Melissa), Joe Vasquez (Sissy), Clint Smith, Stephanie Smith, Kyle Smith (Tiffany) and Erica Smith; and her great grandchildren, Breanna, Savannah, Gabe, Jovanni, Kurt, Grant, Wyatt and Adaleiya. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
