He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Petit; his brother Chris Petit; his father-in-law Frank Drier; and his brothers-in-law, Rick Drier and Scott Drier.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Petit; his son Andrew; his siblings, Yvonne Vandenberg (Thomas), Phillip Petit (Julie Ann), Michele Remter, Julie Petit, Gregory Petit (Nancy), Annette Petit, Rock Petit (Robbin) and Dominic Petit (Niki); his sister-in-law Mary Petit; his mother-in-law Joyce Drier; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Drier (Kathy), Tom Drier (Sallie) and Lori Kriplean (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
