Leonora Rivera Valdez Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonora Rivera Valdez of Freedom, California, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sabas Rivera and Tomasa Borce; her husband Prudencio P. Valdez; and her son Venice Valdez. She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Gonzalez (Jesus); her grandchildren, Angel, Alex and Tianna Gonzalez; and her siblings, Melania Ostrea, Priscilla Carlos and Roland Rivera. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM at the Green Valley Church (376 S Green Valley Rd, Watsonville, CA 95076). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
She worked for may years as a nurse assistant and went on to become a caregiver for Aegis of Aptos where she mainly worked with dementia and Alzheimer's residents.
