He is survived by: his wife Mitsuye Shinkawa of Fowler; his children, Dale Shinkawa of Kingsburg, Michael Shinkawa (Stephanie) of Fowler and Terry Shinkawa Catron of Clovis; and his grandchildren, Satoshi, Seiji and Shaji Shinkawa.
