He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Baird Sr. and Beryl Godfrey Baird; his stepdaughters, Rhonda Meehan and Debi August; his son Jim Oester; his sisters, Beverly and Marilyn; and his wife Sue Oester.
He is survived by: his children, Colley (Phyllis), Jesse, Griff Baird (Wanda) and Tana Bryan (Jerry); his sisters, Jackie Winsby, Loyce Stovall and Gloria Cottrell; and his pets, Duke and Piglet. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren with one on the way, 18 great-great grandchildren.
