She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Walthers and Michael; and her husband Michael. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Connie Holt (Meek) and Janice Smith (Meek). She is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
