He was predeceased by: his son Scott. He is survived by: his pet Humane Society; his wife Ruth; his sons, Randy (Sharon) and Rick (Janet); his grandchildren, Ryan, Erika, Julia and Elizabeth; his stepchildren, Joe and Megan Oliver; and his brother Roger.

Donations in Ron's name can be made to the Mendocino Coast Humane Society.
