He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Herbert Tay; his wife Ruth; and his children, Peter, Chris, John, Janaka, Merrily and Michael. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
They weren't just another place to gather and live, but a foundation in which a family built their lives' stories in love and union.
