He was predeceased by: his parents, George Goekler and Ellen Goekler; his wife Mary; and his son James Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Ellen Goekler-Floyd; his stepdaughter Lessley Skelton; his grandchildren, Trevor, Kyle, Amber, Kayla and Jet; and his great grandchildren, LJ, Mikey, Tiana and Alette. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
