He was predeceased by: his parents, John Costa and Mary Costa; his wife Bettie; his daughter-in-law Karen Costa; his siblings, John, Manuel, Ernest, Anthony, George, Mary, Dorothy, Elaine, Margaret and Barbara Jean; and his friend Don Hopkins.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Costa (Barbara), Carol Steen (George), Elane Companey (Loren), Brian Costa (Greg), Bruce Costa (Peggy) and Sara Burgess-Ortega (Anthony); his friends, JoAnn Perry, Rich, Sharon Avellar, Steve Smith and Thomas Ford; his brothers, Bob and Bill Costa; his grandson Chad Costa; and his niece Marge Barlow (JoAnn Perry). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
