Natasha Renee (Sams) Saucier Obituary
Natasha Renee Saucier, 37, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Fontana, California. She was born August 21, 1982 in Fontana, California to Carol Sams and the late Charles Sams. She was affectionately called Tasha by family and friends.
From a very young age, Natasha was very poised and well spoken. When Natasha was younger, she had a passion to become an actress. At three years old, her mother took her to an audition where she learned a commercial for a well-known fast food chain in a very short time. She scored 99% on her performance. She remembered the lines to that commercial even as an adult. It is no coincidence that she would later work in a field where she would again utilize her great speaking skills.
On May 20, 1996, Natasha lived out a dream of meeting her favorite actor, Will Smith. At the time, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was her favorite tv show. It was so much so that she personally called NBC and made a connection with someone affiliated with the show. Natasha was then invited to be a guest during the taping of the finale. She was given VIP access as a special guest of Will Smith. She had lunch with the cast of the show and was able to meet Will’s mother, Will’s son, the cast and other celebrities attending the show. She always cherished that time. She considered Will to be her hero and wrote a poem about him that was published in a book of poems. Fittingly, the poem was entitled, “Hero.”
Natasha was a 2000 graduate of Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She was a member of Water of Life Community Church in Fontana, California and actively worked with youth. She often volunteered with Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed reading the bible and would often be seen with scriptures on Post-it notes near her work area and in notebooks. Through school and church, Natasha made life-long friendships and remained in touch with friends over the years.
Natasha married Loren Saucier on December 7, 2002 in Fontana, California. From this union, she was blessed to have two girls and two boys. She centered her life around her children and their day-to-day activities. She was strong with a gentle spirit and found great joy in being a mother. She was also kind and thoughtful. It was the norm for her to leave inspirational notes and words of love and encouragement in school lunches she made for the children. Post-it notes were her go-to for leaving such as well.
Natasha was most recently employed as an Appointment Clerk with Southern California Permanente in Fontana, California. She was an exemplary employee and always made her job look easy, although it was stressful and exhausting at times. In addition, as a health enthusiast, she was a member of the wellness company, Melaleuca. She aspired to become a director and recruited family members to help her achieve this goal. In the past, she worked as an Office Assistant with the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health in San Bernardino, California; an Instructional Aide with the Etiwanda School District in Etiwanda, California; and an Administrative Assistant for Excel Direct in Ontario, California. Over the years, she received professional awards and recognition, including an Outstanding Customer Service Award, Zero Call Error Recognition and 100% Call Quality Recognition with Kaiser Permanente. She continuously looked for ways to grow and was pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Colorado Technical University.
