She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mahoney and Alice Mahoney; her sister Helen Getto; and her son Steve Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Paul Thompson; her children, Pamela Banks (Robert) and Bruce Thompson; her granddaughters, Jena Meredith, Maya Kepner, Megan Lydon and Allie Price; and her great grandchildren, Kai Meredith, Dillon, Kody Kepner, Brooklyn and Hazel Lydon.
