She was predeceased by: her son Michael Van Horn; and her great grandchild Ethan Peters. She is survived by: her husband Roland; her children, Steven Van Horn (Alexa) and Julie Thompson (Mark); her daughter-in-law Sandy Russell (Chris); her grandchildren, Toby Van Horn (Melissa), Michelle Peters, Edwina, Hazel Van Horn, Catherine and Caralyn Thompson; her great grandchildren, Andie, Alex, Michael Van Horn, Gabriel and Abby Peters; her great great grandchild Oliver Peters; and her sister Norma.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
