He was predeceased by: his parents, Modesto Cardona and Maggie Cardona; his siblings, Robert Cruz, Ruby Riesgo, Madeline Davis, Marla Cervantez and RoseMarie Gallardo; his nephew Eddie Davis; and his niece Lani Farr (Compa Art Lugo).
He is survived by: his wife Annette Burgett; and his children, Michael Cardona (Jessica), Stephanie Cardona, Kristen Martinez (Rich) and Brittany Halcon (Bobby). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Communty Church (355 D St, Fillmore, CA 93015). The inurnment will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Bardsdale Cemetery (1698 S Sespe St, Fillmore, CA 93015). A burial will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the same location.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to high school sports, Bill was inducted into the Fillmore High School Sports Hall of Fame in September 2018.
