He is survived by: his wife Annie Avendaño; his brother Raul Avendaño; and his children, Jolynn, Richard, Erin, Rebecca and Joseph. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Perez Family Funeral Home-Fillmore (600 Central Ave, Fillmore, CA 93015). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Perez Family Funeral Home (600 Central Ave, Fillmore, CA 93015). A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St Francis of Assisi (1048 Ventura St, Fillmore, CA 93015).
