He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Linton and Loretta Linton; his son Richard Norbert Linton; his brother Albert Linton; his aunt Dorothy Blacktooth; and his niece Celina Chavez.
He is survived by: his son Norbert "Nick" Scott; his grandsons, Norbert Nicholas Scott II and Koba Richard Scott; and his siblings, Veronica Orozco, Margarita Linton, Pam Chavez, Elaine Linton, Marion Linton, Daria Linton, Thearl Linton, Jeff, John, Fletcher, Dennis, Richard Jr. and Michael. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
