She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Sathre and Hazel Sathre (Pletcher); her husband Richard J. Eckhardt; and her siblings, Carl, Harold and Louise.

She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Eckhardt of Fallbrook; her brothers, Lawrence (Nancy), Ronald of Ohio and LeRoy of Florida; and her brother-in-law Ernest Eckhardt of Illinois. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
