As we bid adieu to Spiros Chris' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Spiros Chris has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his brother Peter Vagenas; and his mother Nikolitsa Vagenas. He is survived by: his wife Diana Vagenas; his children, Elizabeth Garcia (Andrew), Vasilios Vagenas (Sarah) and Christopher Vagenas; his father Vasilios "Bill" Vagenas; and his brother John Vagenas (Georgia).

A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Anthony Church - Pasadena (778 S Rosemead Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Rose Hills Memorial Park (3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, CA 90601).

In lieu of flowers, Spiros family requests that donations be made to his church, Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church, 778 S. Rosemead Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107 (http://www.saint-anthonys.org.), or to the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary, 230 Aviation Road, Fallbrook, CA 92028 (fallbrookanimalsanctuary.org), in honor of his love for animals.
