It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Harold Brazil of Fallbrook, California, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Brazil (Ornellas) and Abel Brazil; his brother James; his son Lawrence John Brazil; and his granddaughter Rebecca Ka'hea.
He is survived by: his brother John; his children, Richard H. Brazil, Jr., Michelle Nalani Brazil and Barbara Leilani Brazil; his daughter-in-law Debra Pagoyo Brazil; and his sister Linda Asato. He is also survived by four children, eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made in his memory to Father Joe's Villages in San Diego, which works to end homelessness and change lives, a cause in which he deeply believed and supported for many years.
