He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bass and Maxine Bass. He is survived by: his children, Vickie Trefero of Huntsville, Gus Bass (Kathy) of Palmdale, Kelie Benzen of Garden Grove, Richard Bass (Kate) of Escondido and Tira Gagnepain (Aaron) of Clever, Missouri.; and his wife Tanya Bass. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
