“My mom, Sylvia Windisch, was a devoted friend of Lena's for about 65-odd years. Lena was a young hairdresser and Sylvia needed someone who understood her uncontrollable hair. They bonded immediately, and as time passed, they became close friends. When Lena and Dot moved to Fallbrook, Mom insisted that Dad drive her from Lakewood to Fallbrook so Lena could do her hair. Mom loved all of Lena's family, and was especially delighted when Al found major success in music. Prayers and Love, Debbie”
