He is survived by: his stepchildren, Ashley Fernandez and Charles Kuschel; his wife Lynn Mozzani; his children, Joel Fernandez and Cherri Kuschel; his sister Krista Gutierrez; and his nieces and nephews, Hailee, Jacob, Lauren Kuschel, Nixon and River Fernandez.
He was a tremendous supporter of the community and frequently sponsored youth sports as well as donations to local charities and schools.
