He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel R Pullen Sr. and Delores Pullen. He is survived by: his wife Janet Pullen; his sister Sharon Hughes; his children, Daniel Pullen III and Nicole Pullen; his nephew Philip Munday Jr.; his children-in-law, Michael Umhra and Andrea Pullen; and his granddaughter Madison Pullen.

Through donations and volunteer services, his foundation built an orphanage in Mexico, Casa Esperanza, which still operates today.
