He was predeceased by: his parents, August B. Ferronato and Adeline M. Rodgers Ferronato; and his siblings, August J. Ferronato and Rosalie A. Kilpatrick. He is survived by: his children, Willy Stitt and Kim Ferronato; his grandchildren, Tina Marie, Katie Wright, Angela Wright, Brittany Wright and Will; his brother Daniel Ferronato (Debra); his nephews, Danny Ferronato (Valerie), Leon Ferronato (Angelina), Kenneth Kilpatrick (Jasmine), Bobby Ferronato (Sherry) and Johnny Ferronato (Kathryn Regan); and his niece Terri Kilpatrick.
