He is survived by: his wife Josefina Polanco; and his daughters, Nilda, Magdalia, Jackie and Evette. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, as well as siblings.

Before his passing, he Founded and served as Vice President of the Puerto Rican Cancer and Kidney Foundation and Founded Borinquen Productions.
