It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Bramwell (Fairfield, California), born in Brigham City, Utah, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Adolphus and Abigail Rees Madsen; her husband Stanley Kent Bramwell; and her siblings, Wayne (Evelyn), Lola Tingey (Willis), Horace, Mildred Stowe Anderson, Clyde (Rose), Grace Pratt (Al), Amy Beecher (Asa), Laura Weber (John), Afton Bingham (Earl), Carl (Jneil), Fred (Ruth), Milton (Mary) and Delbert Madsen.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen, Shauna Ogden (Doug), Christopher, Scott (Kym) and Mark (Malinda). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

“I first became acquainted with Sister Bramwell when we moved to Fairfield in 1999 and she was the Stake Relief Society President. I enjoyed knowing her for the brief time she was here before moving back to Utah. However, I knew of Dorothy long before I met her, because she and my mother, Louise Willie, were good friends growing up in Brigham City, and Mom spoke often of her friend Dorothy Madsen. My parents went to visit her occasionally in Provo. Condolences to the family; she will be missed.”
