She was predeceased by: her parents, William Humphreys and Cora Humphreys; her brother Robert Humphreys; her husbands, Michael Allegra and Henry Ackerman; and her son William Allegro.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Allegra, Linda Schwend and David Ackerman. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joyce worked as a donation solicitor for charitable organizations for many years.
