She was predeceased by: her mothers, Valcoure LaBauex and Evelyn Vital LaBauex; and her sisters, Lavern Weeds, Alice Watson and May Wade.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda, Sonja, Bruce, Gerald and Camille Veal; her daughters-in-law, Maria and Charlotte Veal; her brother Murray LaBauex; her grandchildren, Courtney Hodge, Adrian Veal, Nicole Veal, Bryson Veal and Bruce Veal II; her great grandchildren, Lance Veal, Cash Veal, Daisy Veal, Bryland Veal, Ace Veal and Audrey Rose Veal; and her nieces, Barbara Daigre and Valarie Woods.
