It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan J. Schafer (Exeter, California), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 11, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Robert H. Schafer, Sr.; her parents, William D. Laurence and Mary E. Laurence (Diefenderfer); and her siblings, Blanche Schuchart, Elmer, John and David Laurence.

She is survived by: her children, Robert H. Schafer, Jr. (Valerie), Tami S. Schafer (Christopher Elia), David L. Schafer (Joanne) and Brian K. Schafer (Margie); and her grandchildren, Robert, Ashley, Daniel, Renee, Jesse and Dalton.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America 322 Eighth Ave. 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001 in memory of Mrs. Susan J. Schafer.
