He was predeceased by: his spouse Joyce A. Bowen (Talarigo); his parent John Bowen; and his son Terrance A. Bowen. He is survived by: his parent Annie May Bowen (Halderman); his child John R. Bowen, Jr.; his spouse Kay L. Bowen of Kenhorst; his siblings, Barbara Trievel of Leesport, Alfred Bowen, Robert Bowen and Lucy Howell; and also, Sandra L. Ruppert, Ruppert Ziemba of St. Lawrence and Sandra E. Ziemba. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
