He was predeceased by: his parents, Jud Jackson and Claire Jackson; his brother-in-law Terry Vallee; his nephew Preston Vallee; his cousin William Jackson (Bill); and his friends, Bill Pinches and John Pasquini.
He is survived by: his former wife Gwen; his sons, Richard (Cheryl), Jay (Nancy), Nathan of Rocklin and Michael (Sherri); his siblings, Linda (Joe Williams), John Jackson of Arcata, JoAnn (Rick Rossen), Jerry (Patty Jackson), Diane (Richard Heinl), Mary Vallee of Blue Lake, Sharon (Dave Simpson), Daniel Jackson of McKinleyville, Donna (Mark Gervase) and Carolyn (Doug Griffith); his grandchildren, Jasper, Terah, Morgan, Jami and Jessica; and his close friends, Bob Johnson, Dennis Katri, Brian Stinger, Steve Eskara and Paul Owens. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
