He was predeceased by: his father Salvatore Albert; his brother-in-law Robert Houk; and his parents-in-law, Howard and Ruth Sherry. He is survived by: his mother Gaylene Ann DeVito (Reidel) of Shelby; his wife Phyllis DeVito (Sherry) of Escondido; his children, Heather Engel (Chris) of Sacramento, CA, Salvatore DeVito (Grace) of San Diego, CA and Roger Gale "RJ" DeVito (Anina) of Sarasota, FL; and his siblings, Sally Houk of Shelby, Jean McKenzie of Shelby, David DeVito (Chris) of Shelby and Julie Butler (Michael) of Granville. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
