He is survived by: his sons, Richard Edward Ruhe, III, Michael John Ruhe and Christopher Matthew Ruhe; his grandchildren, Sarah Ruhe, Maya Ruhe, Matthew Ruhe, Connor Ruhe and Richard Edward Ruhe, IV; his sisters, Susan Ruhe Drexler, Nancy Ruhe Gesuelle, Mary Ruhe Leonard and Joy Ruhe; his brother-in-law Charles Drexler; and also Catherine Drexler Ruhe (Cathy).
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Timothy Catholic Parish (2960 Canyon Rd, Escondido, CA 92025). A burial will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miramar National Cemetery (5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122).
