It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn V Cloyd of Escondido, California, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Vingers and Elizabeth Vingers; her husband David Hampton Cloyd; and her sister Joan Vingers Williams. She is survived by: her sister Carol Vingers Rowe of Omaha; and her nieces and nephews, Dr. David Cloyd (Maxine) of Escondido, Tracey Shultz (Guy) of Escondido, John Cloyd (Susan) of Denver and Pamela Cloyd (Patrick). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Elizabeth Hospice, Palomar Family Counseling Services, or the charity of choice.
