He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Greek; his former wife Ruth Ogburn; his wife Dorothy; and his children, Mary Hope Johnston (Brad), Robert (Alyce), George Jr. (Hunter), David (Vicki) and Nicholas (Jolea). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
