He is survived by: his wife Edith (Meninga); his children, Phil (Jetta), Lisa and Steven (Amy); his grandchildren, Thea, Kirsi, Annelies, Helia, Peter, Cora, Ellietta, John, Griffin and Jack; his siblings, Anna Jean Prins (Ed), Bill Vander Meulen (Joyce), John Vander Meulen (Debby), Marlene Van Staaveren (Ken) and Sue Van Vliet (Jasper); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Hoekstra (Joann), Ted Meninga (Faythe) and Linda Van Tol (Jon). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
