We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2023, at the age of 96, Juel Virginia Sallee (Escalon, California), born in Arrey, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude McClain and Lucile McClain; her husband Homer Sallee; her brother Marvin McClain; and her son-in-law James Vaughn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Vaughn of Escalon and Doris Jordan (Ron) of Escalon, California.; her grandchildren, Sherrie Lee (Randall) of Manteca, Doug Vaughn (Yvonne) of Oakdale, Cheryl Nelson (Roger) of Riverbank, Stephanie Jones (Eric) of Modesto and Greg Jordan (Vicki) of Escalon, California.; and her sisters, Melba Wright of Modesto, Louise McElroy Franklin of Citrus Heights, Christine Massengale (Pete) of Placerville and Brenda Hope (Dale) of Gridley California.
