He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Stafslien and Glynne Stafslien (Calkins). He is survived by: his wife Joan Brinkmann; his sons, Ben and Jonathan; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Andersen, Susan Dolan (Pat), Dawn Herbst (Jim) and David Brinkmann (Kim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
