With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Steven Altschuler (Encinitas, California), who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Steve Altschuler and Nancy Altschuler; his grandmother Dorothea; his aunts, Krissi, Martha and Caroline Harnly; and his uncle Kevin. He is also survived by three siblings, three nieces, two nephews.
