She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Slugaj and Dionizy Slugaj; her brothers, Stanley Slugaj and Zdzislaw Slugaj (Jessie); her aunt Natalja Gralak; her uncle Jozef Gralak; her cousin Irene Damon; her stepmother Wanda Slugaj; her siblings, Elizabeth Slugaj and Marcin Slugaj; her sister-in-law Lenia Slugaj; her father-in-law John; and her siblings-in-law, Stella Reich (Kozakowski), Eddie and Ted Kozakowski.

She is survived by: her husband Mieczyslaw (Michael); her children, Jadwiga Grace McNeil (Bruce), Richard Kozakowski and Michael Kozakowski (Lisa Liima); her grandchildren, Alysha Hyde (Alex), Steven McNeil, Michael Liima, Kaitlyn Liima and Karlie Liima-Jackson; her sister Krysia Hohenstein (Werner) of Germany; her sister-in-law Theresa Kozakowski; and her cousins, Jan and Alice Gralak of Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
