He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Floyd Frazier, Wanda Rae Jordan, Cathren Graham and Michael Jones (Pam) of Moline, Illinois.; his mother Missionary Dorothy Jones; his cousin Clemons Potts; his wife Geraldine Jones (Geri); his children, Anitra Jones and Tony Jones II; his grandchildren, Darrenee, Heaven and Jayden; his daughter-in-law Monique of Elk Grove, CA; his sisters, Wanda Jones-Austin of Stockton, Lana Jones-Clemons of Elk Grove, CA, Gwen Davis (Tony Montgomery), Peggy Martin and Regina King; and his godchildren, Rosalyn Lee, Karen, Kelly Ridley, Caffie Beard, Nadira, Noel Jones, Buddy Ware and Terry Watson.
During the pandemic they later joined the Holy Temple Community COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Joseph and First Lady Joyce Thomas and through his sickness he never gave up trusting in God for healing.
