He is survived by: his wife Miriam Gutke; his children, Irene Layton, Debbie Allen (Dan), Sandy Holmes, Ron Holmes and Michelle Holmes; and his sisters, Shana Caldwell and Karen Droesbeke. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 14 greatgrandchildren.
