She was predeceased by: her brother Peter David Lamasney; and her daughter Anne Caroline Henderson. She is survived by: her brother Michael Vinet Lamasney; her children, Charles Wayne Henderson (Colleen), John Lisker Henderson, Thomas Vinet Henderson (Carol) and Mary Brien Henderson; and her grandchildren, Lauren Kathleen Henderson, Mary Margaret "Maggie" Henderson, Bailey Richardson Stephens, Molly Ann Brien Henderson and Michael Lance Molinari. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Joan requested that donations be made to either Friends of the Alameda Free Library or High Country Friends of the Library.
