He was predeceased by: his parents, Les Cookson and Ruth Cookson; and his brothers, Donald and Ben. He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Julie Hall (Mike), Jenny Woods (Rod) and Jeff Cookson (Jan); and his grandchildren, Kevin Hall (Taylor), Brandon Hall, Justin Woods, Mackenzie Woods, Caleigh Cookson, Carter Cookson and Caydee Cookson.
