He is survived by: his wife Durvalina; his children, Suzana Leiva (Tony), Elizabeth Ward and Nelson Alves (Kaite); his grandchildren, Lauren, Madeline, Carson, Easton, Cameron, Hailey and Huckson; and his siblings, Alvarina Dutra, Filomena Martins (John), Analia Vieira (Clemente) and Alexandrino Alves (Maria). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as cousins and friends.
