Shirley Elder Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Elder of El Monte, California, born in Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on April 26, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruble Elliott and Mary Lou Gordon; and her husband Robert Elder (Bob). She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyn Elder (Lyndal), Ronald Elliott (Esther) and Nancy Schorr (Paul); and her children, Richard Elder (Dana), Susan Reyes, Noretta Morales (Hector), Raymond Elder (Erica), Ralph Elder (Victoria), Roger Elder, Ronald Elder (Caroll), Russell Elder (Belen) and Robert Jr. Elder (Susan). She is also survived by thirty grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and many extended family members such as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
