It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl H. Backers Jr. (El Dorado Hills, California), born in North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on May 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Carl III. He is survived by: his former wife Ann Backers; his children, Lisa, Angela and Steve; and his wife Connie Backers. He is also survived by nine grand-children, and four great grand-children.

Since patriotism and support for our nation's heroes was so important to Carl, if you are so inclined, donations may be made in his honor to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, to help support the families of fallen first responders.
