It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon A. Layton (El Cerrito, California), who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Vernon Andrews and Ellen Olenius; her husband Herbert Ferdinand Layton; her brothers, Gary and Richard Andrews; and her daughter Jennifer Kathleen Layton Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Lynn Rollins (Russ), H. F. "Ferdy", Waldo Peter (Donald) and Alfred Henry Layton (Susan); and her sister Judith Lynn Ofstad. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She had suffered many years from the effects of Alzheimer's Disease, though she still recognized and happily communicated with family and friends.
