Olive Anne (White) Kaplanis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2020, Olive Kaplanis (Oakland/El Cerrito, California) passed away. She was not only known in senior community after working in the El Cerrito Senior Center for many years after she retired from many more years at Seabourne Cruise Lines, she was also know and loved by all as "Nana".
She leaves behind/survived her biological daughters Macie and Paula, grandsons, Tyler, Shane and Reilly, great grandson Raelyn. as well as many others were chosen "adopted" daughters (Kim and Cynthia to name a few) and sons too. Family and friend in the United States as well as Canada. Nephews and Nieces and other family--because she treated everyone like family.
At any time you could stop by her residence and she would feed you--including the stray cats she would leave food and water for them as well. You know you were loved and never leave without a container of Nana's own spaghetti sauce and a roll of Viva towels.
There will be no services for her at this time, but will have services in the Spring to avoid the Covid restrictions for all the huggers in the family.
Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Olive Kaplanis to pay them a last tribute. You may also light a candle in honor of Olive Kaplanis.
